Meet at Grandfather Vineyard & Winery — your home base for the day. Free parking.
Hop On & Off
Visit 3–4 wineries on your loop. Stay as long as you like at each — the shuttle loops all day.
Return to Grandfather
Both loops bring you back to Grandfather. Grab your car, or cross over to the other loop!
The Banner Elk Loop
Explore the heart of High Country winemaking with stops at three premier wineries east of Grandfather, including award-winning wines and artisan food.

The West Jefferson Loop
A scenic route west through Boone, Ashe, and Alleghany Counties featuring intimate, family-run wineries, a cidery, and a legendary mead maker.

The Crossover Pass
Like a theme park hopper — finish one loop, hop on the other. Both loops meet at Grandfather Vineyard, so crossing over is seamless. Taste your way through all 7 wineries in a single day!
Both loops depart at 11:00 AM. Finish your first loop (~3:00 PM), then jump on the second. Full day: ~11:00 AM – 8:00 PM.
The Bounce Back Ticket
Can't fit all 7 wineries into one day? No problem. Buy a single loop ticket today and come back the next day to ride the other loop at half price.
Bounce Back must be used the next operating day. Present your original ticket or confirmation email. Subject to availability.
